(RightWing.org) – Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen have a couple of things in common with one another; pathological hatred for Israel and their roles as proxies for the Islamic Republic of Iran. Now, the parent country is ramping up its threats to include direct action if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should turn the full might of the Israel Defense Force (IDF) towards his country’s northern border.
Upping the Ante
Ever since the October 7, 2023 butchery carried out by Hamas against Israeli citizens that included kidnapping, rape, and murder of unarmed men, women, and children, there have been almost daily exchanges of rockets and missiles with the Hezbollah terrorists. Recent reports indicate that the IDF is rearranging unit deployments with an eye to its common border with Lebanon.
The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the Iran Mission to UN [sic](United Nations) accused Israel of using propaganda and psychological warfare in threatening their Hezbollah lackeys. The message goes on to claim that should the IDF pivot to an all-out war in Lebanon “an obliterating war will ensue [and] all options… are on the table.”
Albeit Iran deems as psychological warfare the Zionist regime’s propaganda about intending to attack Lebanon, should it embark on full-scale military aggression, an obliterating war will ensue. All options, incl. the full involvement of all Resistance Fronts, are on the table.

The Islamic nation has already shown its willingness to break with tradition when it comes to supporting the terrorists that they are funding in their well-known desire to eradicate Israel from the face of the earth. On April 13, they initiated what they have dubbed “Operation True Promise” and launched a combination of more than 300 missiles and drones at targets within the Jewish state marking the first-ever attack made directly from within their own borders.
The leadership claimed that this was a retaliatory strike after Israel attacked a building adjacent to the Iranian Embassy in Damascus, Syria on April 1 which killed the man in charge of funneling his country’s weapons to Hezbollah, Quds Force General Mohammad Reza Zahedei along with several of his aides. Very few of the munitions launched actually hit their targets due to the anti-missile defense systems of the IDF and US military forces, likely the Navy ships stationed in the Red Sea.
Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh expressed his eagerness for a chance to initiate Operation True Promise version 2.0 in a statement made on July 1 from Tehran, according to multiple media reports. Meanwhile, diplomats from the United States and other Western nations are frantically trying to calm the situation between Israel and Hezbollah in the hopes of preventing a regional war that could draw America into a direct shooting confrontation with Iran.
With the massive amounts of money that Iran is investing in their terror proxies, one might recall the $1.7 billion that former President Barack Obama, then-Vice President Joe Biden, and John Kerry — who was Secretary of State under the former and is the climate czar for the latter — conspired to provide the world’s worst state-sponsor of terrorism in 2015. A cynic might wonder if the current administration’s sudden concern for Israel’s safety is a byproduct of the sitting POTUS’s horrific debate performance in the face of the rapidly approaching November election.
