(RightWing.org) – Long-term political watchers can confirm that there have always been two versions of Joe Biden. There’s the statesman, known for his displays of empathy and soft-spoken words of encouragement. Inversely, there’s a somewhat deranged alter ego that waves a fist and accuses anyone who disagrees with him of spewing a bunch of “malarkey.” A recent report discussed Biden’s darker half, viewed through the lens of his long history of spreading dangerous rhetoric.
In the wake of the failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump, Biden is trying to pretend that the darker side of his personality never existed, that he hasn’t spent years accusing his rivals of being white supremacists, threats to the American way of life, and worse. However, Twitchy recently published an article detailing Biden’s effort to fool Americans by denying the existence of his long history of posting politically charged rhetoric. The report also provided several examples of Biden’s divisive posts.
For example, the president has posted an exhaustive number of tweets on his X/Twitter account, calling the former president and his supporters a threat.
- September 2022: Biden accused Trump and his MAGA supporters of threatening the “very soul of this country.”
- December 2023: Sleepy Joe claimed the former president threatened America’s global standing. He also said the former president presented a risk to Americans’ voting and civil rights and the right to choose [a reference to abortion].
- June 2024: The president echoed a familiar refrain by falsely claiming Trump presents a threat to “this nation,” “our freedom,” and our “democracy.” He concluded his post by saying the former president was “literally a threat to everything America stands for.”
Coincidentally, OR NOT, Biden reportedly invoked a dangerous dog whistle regarding the former president during a July 8 phone call with his National Finance Committee amid calls for him to abandon his bid for a second term. He told participants he had “one job […] to beat Donald Trump.” Continuing, the president said he was done discussing his horrific performance during the first presidential debate. Instead, he said, “It’s time to put Trump in a bullseye.”
Tragically, that’s exactly what happened in Pennsylvania five days later when Thomas Matthew Crooks fired at Trump during a rally in Butler, killing one attendee and wounding two others. The former president sustained an injury to his right ear during the incident.
